A message from our pastor

Greetings,

As the Pastor, my heart longs to see every person in the church walking in “wholeness.” Wholeness encompasses body, mind, emotion and spirit. In III John 4 the apostle John said, “I have no greater joy than to see my children walk in truth.” The truth is, Jesus came to allow us to walk in total victory over every area and circumstance of life.

As soon as a person is able to walk in wholeness the next step is to move them into their ministry. We have all been called to be ministers of Christ. God has put a “want to” within us. Its this “want to” that taps into the true passion of life, it is part of God’s direction for our life. Our Lord desires that we lead a fulfilled life. He has a plan, a destiny for each of us. Unfortunately too few ever find their destiny much less fulfill it. It is the responsibility of the church to help those who desire to live life to the fullest discover this God given potential.

SCF is making a concerted effort to make our children and youth programs the featured part of our ministry. The world recognized long ago if you want to change a nation you much reach the youth. They have a truth that we need. Satan has constantly tried to abort God’s plan by destroying children.

Churches are called to fulfill different rolls. SCF is called to reach our community for Christ. The way we want to do this is by serving those in authority and the people of Henry County. The banner over our church is “In this place you are loved accepted and received”. In John 13:35 Jesus said, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love…”
